Low profile USB plug
- only 3mm protrudence from the connector
- 2.54mm hole spacing, solder wires directly or add header pins
- shield connections
- 2u gold plate
This is an ultra low profile USB A male plug designed for embedded applications where standard USB connectors take up too much space.
Add epoxy or hot melt over the wires if strain relief is required.
Note that this plug is not suitable in applications where it may be inserted upside down, as the shield terminal will short the USB power.
