Apple IIGS IWM PLCC-to-DIP converter

Replacement PLCC IWMs can be quite difficult to find, so if you have a spare DIP one now you can use it as a replacement in your Apple IIGS. Simply solder the castellated pads directly to the footprint on the logic board, then solder a SMD DIP-28 socket (or a regular one with the pins folded out) to the pads on top of the PCB. Ensure correct orientation as per photo and silkscreen markings.

Make sure "castellated pads" is selected when ordering!
