AERC Electric, Hydrogen and Autonomous Vehicle Project

As Y?ld?z Technical University Alternative Energy Resource Society;

We have been creating vehicles that use alternative and renewable energy resources instead of vehicles that use non- renewable sources we have today, in order to protect our nature and environment. Our community has been founded under the name of Solar Energy Based Systems Community in 2004 and it continues as Alternative Energy Based Systems Community. We have made around 20 cars which use

water or electricity as an energy source and more. Our community has a variety of supporters, ranging from the students to people with PhD degrees and even academicians. We represent our community in or out of our country, in various competitions.

We have accomplished many things over the last 15 years: The most recent one is the T?B?TAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle ( A race organized by T?B?TAK where university students use their self-made electricity cars to test how well they are in areas like efficiency and design) in Kocaeli K?rfez Racing Track in 2019. Our Hydrocar named Hidra won the first prize in Hydromobile Cars Category, our Electrocar named Lyra won the second prize in Electromobile Cars Category. Also in TEKNOFEST’19, our unmanned electric vehicle named Electra won the first prize. As a community, we still work on our projects for better successes. On top of these:
