micro:bit badge

For the makezurich.ch hardware hackathon, we built this hardware badge based on the micro:bit microcontroller. The badge board works as a power supply, buzzer and breakout for the micro:bit pins, besides being a name tag. https://github.com/make-zurich/micro-bit-badge

Step 1: Getting the parts

You will need the following parts per badge:

• 1x micro:bit
• 1x buzzer
• 1x CR2450 battery
• 1x CR2450 battery holder
• 5x M3 nuts and bolts

And of course, you need to order the badge PCB itself. You can place a pcbway order using the gerber files from the github repository.

Step 2: Assembly

Once you have soldered the buzzer and the battery holder, assembling the badge is easy: just bolt it to the micro:bit on the top side (the bottom side pads are not connected on the micro:bit!) and you&/project/share/#39;re good to go!
